Rangers acquire Ramirez from Yankees

Ramirez was designated for assignment in late February when the Yankees signed Chan Ho Park to a one-year contract.

In 20 relief appearances with the Yankees last season, Ramirez had no record with a 5.73 earned run average. He spent the majority of the campaign at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes Barre and was 1-5 with a 3.19 ERA in 29 games.
